These people are facing charges for helping a wounded deer.   Yes, I understand they may have broken some wild life law but don’t we have bigger fish to fry?  Sounds more like they are getting charged because, the department of wild life weren’t able to kill it because it escaped when they came to do it!

Never ceases to amaze me what is deemed to be worthy of prosecution versus things more serious that are not.  They tried to find someone to take it that would be allowed to.  They only planned to keep it until it could survive on it’s own, not keep it forever as a pet.  They applied for a permit to keep the deer and were denied.  Come on.  The only thing these people are truly guilty of is having a heart
